Our Mission
The world's major business rankings (Fortune, Forbes, Bloomberg, the Economist) operate primarily in English. Yet the Chinese-speaking world, with 1.4 billion people and thriving business communities across Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe, has never had a native-language global corporate ranking.
World Best 500 exists to fill that gap. This is not a translation of existing English rankings. It is an original editorial work, built from a Chinese-language perspective, evaluating global companies and business leaders through the lens of what matters to Chinese-speaking readers.
We are committed to becoming a neutral, objective, and authoritative global business benchmark: a long-term reference for enterprises, investors, and decision-makers worldwide.
Evaluation Methodology
A dual mechanism of data-driven analysis and independent editorial committee review ensures the objectivity and authority of our rankings. All data sources are cross-verified against public financial reports and third-party data platforms.
Full Methodology →Revenue Scale
Annual corporate revenue serves as the foundational scoring dimension, referenced against audited public financial reports and authoritative third-party platforms including Bloomberg and FactSet.
Global Reach
Evaluates the breadth of a company's global market presence, overseas revenue proportion, and depth of multinational operations, measuring the true extent of influence beyond domestic markets.
Industry Influence
A composite assessment of market position, technological leadership, patent portfolio, and the ability to define and shape industry standards within the company's sector.
Editorial Committee
A committee of senior business editors and independent industry advisors independently reviews quantitative screening results, ensuring professional judgment and objectivity in qualitative assessments.
